Energy Training Council, Safeland USA and Autry Technology Center partner to provide health, safety, and environmental orientation for the energy industry. This 10-hour orientation will cover PPE, Confined Space Awareness, Fire Safety, Lockout/Tagout, Hazcom, Environmental Awareness, Electrical Safety, Fall Protection, H2S Awareness, Substance Abuse and other topics. Our primary goal is to reduce the number of preventable accidents. This is required training for many oilfield companies.
Phase I includes interpreting security guard law, first aid, fire extinguishers and writing field notes and reports. You will also interpret legal powers. Phase II includes public relations, fixed post duties, patrolling and investigating security incidents. Cost of the class includes first attempt for the certification exam.
Use either a revolver or a semiautomatic pistol, but not both, in a single class. To complete the training with both types of handguns, you need to enroll twice. Instruction fulfills the CLEET Armed License Training requirement for the type of weapon used. Price includes first attempt at written certification test.
The Supervisors' Safety Development Program (SSDP) trains supervisors and managers to incorporate best safety practices into their daily management activities. This course is for Garfield County Volunteer Fire Departments. It will be taught by Oklahoma State Fire Service Training.
Vehicle Rescue Technician Level I Part B is a continuation of Part A and designed to meet the JPRs set in NFPA 1006, 2013 edition Chapter 10.1. This course emphasizes the importance of safety within the vehicle rescue environment as well as new vehicle technology and patient care. Skills covered are: scene size-up, vehicle stabilization, lifting and cribbing, patient care and stabilization, and vehicle extrication techniques.
