The BLS Instructor course consists of three parts: computer-based training, Basic Life Support course and AHA (American Heart Association) curriculum and guidelines. Each instructor candidate is required to present a portion of the curriculum while they are monitored by the training center faculty. ^heart:heart association
This course includes adult, infant and child CPR and AED. To obtain a CPR certification card you must pass a performance test and written test with a score of 84 percent or greater. This class is often taken by those wanting to enter the healthcare field. ^baby; babies; resuscitate; defibrillator;
Basic Life Support certifications must be renewed every two years. This three-hour course can be completed by individuals who hold a current Basic Life Support card to renew their certification.

Medication Administration Technician training is designed to provide certified training for direct care staff in licensed residential care facilities and licensed group homes which have the responsibility of administering medication to residents. Learn information that will assist you at work while meeting the annual requirement of completing at least eight hours of update training for those who have been certified as a Medication Administration Technician and are employed.
Learn skills necessary to properly draw blood specimens by venipuncture and capillary puncture and the proper handling of the specimen for clinical laboratory testing. Topics covered include anatomy, physiology, specimen collection, infection control, equipment safety, interpersonal communication skills, professionalism and legal aspects.
