This one day workshop is an excellent way to brush up on your skills for the MIG and TIG welding process. This course is designed to give students the knowledge and confidence needed to improve their welding skills. Please wear a long sleeve cotton shirt (or welding jacket) and steel toed boots. Bring: welding helmet, welding gloves, safety glasses, needle nose pliers (to cut welding wire) and tape measure.
Provides advanced knowledge and skills to successfully complete Firefighter 2 certification exam. LPG alone will not work to fulfill requirements.
Energy Training Council, Safeland USA and Autry Technology Center partner to provide health, safety, and environmental orientation for the energy industry. This 10-hour orientation will cover PPE, Confined Space Awareness, Fire Safety, Lockout/Tagout, Hazcom, Environmental Awareness, Electrical Safety, Fall Protection, H2S Awareness, Substance Abuse and other topics. Our primary goal is to reduce the number of preventable accidents. This is required training for many oilfield companies.

AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course provides the knowledge and skills that may help save a life. It also offers the basics of first aid for the most common life-threatening emergencies, covering how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills.

The Next-Generation Accuplacer is an exam intended to assist in the placement of new full-time students. The tests administered include Reading and Arithmetic. The Reading test assesses the test taker’s ability to derive meaning from a range of texts and to determine the meaning of words and phrases in short and extended contexts. The Arithmetic test focuses on computation, order of operations, estimation and rounding, comparing and ordering values in different formats, and recognizing equivalent values across formats.

Basic Life Support certifications must be renewed every two years. This three-hour course can be completed by individuals who hold a current Basic Life Support card to renew their certification.

This course is the first step in learning to weld. The program is designed to teach the basics of oxyacetylene cutting with a focus on arc welding. You will learn to set up machines and equipment, shear, bend and assemble metal projects. MIG welding available upon request.
The Emergency Medical Responder is an integral part of the Emergency Medical Services System. The term "first responder" has been applied to the first individual that arrives at the scene regardless of the individual's credentials. This class will provide students with the core knowledge, skills, and attitudes to function in the capacity of a first responder. Each student's first attempt at the certification test is included in the schedule and cost of the course.
