The RISE Up COVID-19 Customer Conflict Prevention credential is a 70-minute training developed in partnership with the NRF Foundation and Crisis Prevention Institute to train workers on how to avoid and de-escalate conflict, as well as navigate issues around mask requirements and line management. Designed specifically for retail’s unique challenges, including mask requirements for customers, customer-to-customer conflicts and line management. After completing this online course, you will be able to: •Identify the signs of and strategies to prevent conflicts •Understand the skills needed to de-escalate conflicts •Use techniques to keep customers and employees safe Upon completion, you will receive a certificate from the National Retail Federation Foundation identifying you as a COVID-19 Customer Conflict Prevention Specialist.
Learners who earn this certification will master customer service and sales skills, including understanding the customer life cycle, developing effective strategies to engage customers, assessing customer needs and closing sales.
