TO PREPARE INDIVIDUALS TO ENTER THE HEALTH CARE INDUSTRY AS COMPETENT HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS.
This program provides an overview of health careers while teaching basic health care skills and laboratory techniques. The combination of theory, laboratory skills and clinical observations provide optimal learning allowing students to experience the health care field first hand. High school students earn an anatomy credit. Students can choose to complete the curriculum in order to test for Long Term Care Certification (CNA).

Lois McCullough joins the Autry team as the Health Careers instructor after serving as the School Nurse, Human Anatomy & Physiology teacher and Discovery Therapist at Oklahoma Bible Academy since 2006. She received her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Oklahoma in 2007. She is a Registered Nurse, a certified American Heart BLS CPR Instructor and also has three levels of training with the National Institute for Learning Differences.
