Career Counselor



Education: Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling

Experience: Experience working in career education preferred

Certification: Counselor Certification


PRIMARY FUNCTION: Coordinate career development activities for all students in grades eight through twelve at partner schools.  Ensure proper assessment, enrollment, and placement of students. Provide career counseling for potential and current students.


DIRECT SUPERVISOR: Director of Student Services


CONTRACT: 12 month


Cosmetology Instructor



Education: Associate degree preferred.

Certification: Must hold valid Oklahoma Board of Cosmetology Master Instructor license.  Eligible for Provisional I Certification as specified by the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education.

Experience: Must have at least three years’ experience in a styling salon within the last five years.


PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for instruction, operation, and general development of the Cosmetology program.  Maintain rapport with other full‑time instructors, administrators, advisory committee members, and industry representatives as needed to carry out job responsibilities in a professional manner.


DIRECT SUPERVISOR: Director of Curriculum


CONTRACT: 10 Month


Practical Nursing Clinical Coordinator




Education: Associate degree in Nursing required. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. BSN must be obtained within five years of employment.  Must take a minimum of six credit hours per calendar year.

Licensure: Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oklahoma.

Experience: Minimum of two years full-time equivalent practice as a Registered Nurse in a clinical setting within the last five years.


PRIMARY FUNCTION: To provide clinical and program instruction for the Practical Nursing Program at Autry Technology Center.  To provide quality education by maintaining the highest of standards for Practical Nursing training.


CONTRACT: 12 Month


Adjunct Instructors

Autry Technology Center is seeking qualified individuals to serve as Adjunct Instructors in many fields. Education and experience requirements vary depending on the course content. Specific instructor needs fluctuate throughout the year;

however, we are always looking for highly-skilled subject matter experts for any of our current or future courses.
