Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage-building program designed to support leader agility, team effectiveness and culture change. The most significant finding from Brené’s latest research is that courage is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable, and observable.

With more than two decades of experience in strategic HR and operations leadership, Linda offers an exceptional reputation of radical operational focus centering respect and empathy at all levels. Linda speaks in front of thousands of people each year including executives and senior leadership, professional and industry conferences and organizations, and teams in a variety of industries including energy, education, healthcare, manufacturing, and retail. Her areas of focus include building and leading effective teams, leadership, and the art and competency of active feedback. Her signature charismatic and engaging presentations are driven by her passion for service, offering unparalleled learner-centered environments punctuated by storytelling and humor. Her professional development includes being a 2021 Baby on the PhD path for a PhD in Values-Driven Leadership! She is a professionally recognized human resources strategist, certified coach, and a contributing author on the competency of receiving feedback and pivoting to action. She’s an adjunct professor at the University of Central Oklahoma, and developer/facilitator/instructor for various leadership programs at Oklahoma City University Meinders School of Business, Rose State College, and MetroTech Downtown Business Campus. Both SPHR and SHRM-SCP certified, she is committed to professional excellence and currently serves as the Chair of College Relations and Career Pathways for the Oklahoma State Council for HR, and as a member of the Oklahoma Metro Employers’ Council.


Brené Brown is a research professor at the University of Houston where she holds the Huffington Foundation – Brené Brown Endowed Chair at The Graduate College of Social Work.
