Fulltime career training is offered in Air Conditioning/Refrigeration, Automotive Technology, Business Management and Entrepreneurship, Clinical Medical Assisting, Collision Repair Technology, Computer Aided Drafting and Design, Construction Technology, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Dental Assisting, Early Care & Hospitality, Graphic Arts, Health Careers, Information Technology, MRI, Power Products Technology, Practical Nursing, Radiography, Respiratory Care, Robotics and Electronic Automation, Surgical Technology, and Welding Technology. Freedom of Expression Annual Report
This report is in response to the requirements of SB 361. The following actions have been taken to establish compliance:
- A Freedom of Expression policy was approved by the Autry Technology Center Board of Education on December 2, 2019, in compliance with the new law. A copy of this policy is attached.
- Freedom of Expression policy and annual report has been posted on our website, autrytech.edu. This posting is:
- Accessible by not more than three links;
- Searchable by key words and phrases;
- Accessible to the public without requiring registration or use of a user name, password or another user identification.
Autry Technology Center respects and values student activism. Autry takes pride in our students’ interactions with social and political issues, viewing it as a desirable, if not essential, component of civic engagement.
Autry Technology Center has not established any zones that limit free speech, has no barriers to free expression, and has experienced no incidents or disruption occurring on its campuses linked to free speech issues. Furthermore, there have been no attempts to block or prohibit speakers and there have been no attempts to investigate students or student organizations for their speech.
