INSTRUCTOR BIO

James Chastain came to teach at Autry Technology Center in 2000. Mr. Chastain brought with him 31 years of experience in the automotive industry. He is ASE Master Certified in auto and diesel. Mr. Chastain also holds a Bachelor Degree in Career and Technical Education. He assisted in the writing of curriculum and competency tests for the State Department of Career and Technical Education and helped develop the first CNG curriculum for the state. Outside of the classroom James enjoys raising donkeys and pigs.
