Business and Industry Services (BIS) Coordinator – Small Business Management (SBM)



Education – Bachelor’s degree in area of specialization preferred.

Experience – Owning, operating, or managing a small business, public speaking, and economic development highly desired.

Skills – Interpersonal, written and oral communication, and presentation skills.


PRIMARY FUNCTION – To coordinate a SBM and training program directed toward small businesses (<25 employees) that have been in business at least 5 years or longer.  This includes, but is not limited to training, needs assessments, consulting and planning.


Business and Industry Services (BIS) – Support Staff




Education – High School diploma or GED.

Experience – Career training or job related experience highly desired.

Skills – A general knowledge of computers with a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point and Outlook).  Strong knowledge of Excel.  Background in payroll and human resources preferred.  Strong personal relations, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.  Attention to detail is critical. Communication skills (written and verbal) and confidentiality are essential.

Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations.  Must have the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, using correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation.  Must also have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors, clients, customers, and the general public.


PRIMARY FUNCTION – To assist BIS Director and coordinators in development of BIS programs.



Self-Employment Training Coordinator 



Education – Bachelor’s degree in area of specialization preferred.

Experience – Owning and operating a business, public speaking, and economic development.


PRIMARY FUNCTION: To coordinate Self-Employment Training (SET) and Incubator training programs directed toward adult clients who are in business for themselves or who plan to start a business.  This includes, but it not limited to recruiting, training, research, individual consultation, liaison with financial institutions, Enid Development Coalition, SEEDS Loan program, and County Development Authorities, and ongoing monitoring of clients’ progress.


Adjunct Instructors

Autry Technology Center is seeking qualified individuals to serve as Adjunct Instructors in many fields. Education and experience requirements vary depending on the course content. Specific instructor needs fluctuate throughout the year;

however, we are always looking for highly-skilled subject matter experts for any of our current or future courses.
