Administrative Intern


Education: Bachelor’s degree in career & technology education or related field.

Certification: Valid Oklahoma teaching certificate required. Hold or have the ability to obtain an Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education Administrator credential.

Experience: Experience with Career and Technology Education as a student, employee, or employer/user required.

Skills: Public speaking and leadership experience required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

PRIMARY FUNCTION: The primary function is to participate in administrative internship opportunities through all divisions of Autry Technology Center. Duties will include fulfilling specific assignments in each area as well as a capstone assignment that is a culmination of knowledge gained during the full two-year program.


CONTRACT: 12 Month



Business & Industry Services Support Staff



 Education: High School diploma or GED.


 Experience: Career training or job related experience highly desired.      


 Skills: A general knowledge of computers with a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).


Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations.  Must have the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, using correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation.  Must also have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors, clients, customers, and the general public.


PRIMARY FUNCTION: To assist BIS Director and coordinators in development of BIS programs.  Primary support in Adult Career & Development.


Business & Industry Services (BIS) Trainer – Heavy Equipment Operator/Driver Simulator



 Education: Bachelor’s degree in area of specialization or equivalent training experience preferred.


Certificates/Licenses: Class A CDL with X, T, & P endorsements required.


 Experience: Requires at least two years’ experience in developing and/or presenting educational activities.  Three years tractor-trailer, over-the-road driving experience and/or heavy equipment operation. Knowledge of current state and federal regulations relating to the trucking industry.


 Skills: Must have excellent organizational, planning, implementation, and communication skills. Must be able to work flexible hours as well as travel extensively over 50% of the time and stay overnight often. Other skills needed are: must possess the ability to work with people at all levels of education and experience; must possess patience and ability to cope with conflicting points of view and also the ability to deal with unexpected and unusual situations; must be able to function under pressure as well as the ability to work with minimal supervision; must be a self-starter and highly motivated; must be able to accommodate shifting priorities and flexible schedules; Must have excellent written and oral communication skills; must have strong facilitation skills; must be outgoing and dynamic; must demonstrate strong leadership skills; must have basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software programs and handle basic troubleshooting; basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.


PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for planning, developing, presenting, and documenting educational/training programs based upon industry standards and company specifications in assigned industrial fields, i.e. transportation, heavy equipment, etc.


Adjunct – Clinical Skills Actress

Autry Technology Center is seeking qualified individuals to serve as an Adjunct Clinical Skills Actress. The only requirement is that the person does NOT have a nursing background. The actress is someone for the tester to perform their skills on based on the scenario they are given (i.e. blood pressure, range of motion, change bedding, move from bed to wheelchair).


Adjunct Instructors

Autry Technology Center is seeking qualified individuals to serve as Adjunct Instructors in many fields. Education and experience requirements vary depending on the course content. Specific instructor needs fluctuate throughout the year;

however, we are always looking for highly-skilled subject matter experts for any of our current or future courses.

Autry Technology Center and the Oklahoma School of Science and Math (OSSM) are working jointly to fill an opening for an instructor to teach AP Calculus BC or Physica at the OSSM Enid Regional Center.

Responsibilities include recruitment and instruction of area students for the OSSM Regional Center at Autry.  Familiarity with the AP Calculus and AP Physics programs is a plus.



Bachelors in education, math, physics or related field required.



Experience with mathematics and science education as well as excellent interpersonal skills in working with faculty, staff, parents, and students.
